I'm totally getting the after X'mas effect. So grouchy but still contented everything went well. Went for dim sum before the Christmas storm of horror! Also there is something wrong syncing my hand phone pictures to my laptop so wait for better posts soon!
There is this thing about naming Chinese restaurants, it's so bloody difficult to remember the names!
If you're planning to open one, please find something easy to remember like "Snappy Chopsticks" or
"Kung Fu Dim Sum", not jin xua- wha..? *blank*
Pork Chee Cheong Fun.
It's odd that I can find shrimp in this when it says pork.
Not sure if this is a good or bad thing.
The rice layer is quite smooth but a little too thick for my liking.
Pork & shrimps in Wanton skin
Scallop Har Gao
(You'll never know when a blogger will pop by,
so keep your food presentation clean! Teehee!)
Scallop portion too little, but the shrimp is super fresh.
Loh Mai Kai
(Glutinous rice with chicken, taiwanese sausages and shitake mushrooms)
This was pretty good, they are generous with the meat on this one.
Fried Salad Prawn Dumplings
I'll usually order this without thinking twice.
But a little on the hard and dry side.
Taste still there nonetheless.
Radish Cake with sweet sauce and chilli.
White Lotus Buns
Rich filling with salted egg yolk inside. This is one of my favourites here!
Verdict: Not my 1st choice of place to go to for Dim Sum but it's fully air conditioned, available during night time and location-wise, quite strategically placed.
